About the role

The ideal Social Media candidate should have outstanding communication skills, a strong background in copywriting and editing, excellent time management skills, and, most importantly, a real PASSION for social media.
Goals and objectives
- Showcase your passion for social media by writing engaging and creative posts
- Successfully manage, organise and coordinate posts for the Hive, The Flexi Group and The Cluster across all our locations
- Engage and grow our followers across all social media platforms
- Optimise our Facebook marketing advertisements
- Maintain the brands website identity using WordPress
Duties and responsibilities
- Work with the Head of Marketing to implement the social media strategy for our brands
- Manage different social media accounts across all locations. This includes editing and ensuring content is on brand and of consistent quality
- Create original daily content to post on Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin pages (original text, images and video)
- Set up and optimise company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social/digital content
- Ensure consistent growth in audience engagement and number of followers across all Social Media platforms
- Liaise with the events team to ensure all events are well marketed
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned
- Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms
- Partner with creative teams (designers, videographers and photographers) to produce high quality visual content from layout, photo and video
- Form key relationships with with influencers across social media platforms
- Work with sales and marketing to edit and create promotional content
Requirements
- Real PASSION for writing engaging and creative content using SM
- Sense of what’s popular and buzz worthy while not being afraid to take risks to identify/introduce new social outlets
- Proven working experience in SM marketing/editing, digital media, creative copywriting or similar. Fresh graduates will also be considered
- Excellent writing and copy-editing skills, as well as a creative tone-of-voice that captures the voice of the brand and engages the audience
- Good knowledge of WordPress and Facebook platforms
- Demonstrable experience using social analytics and content creation tools
- Great time management, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
- Confident working independently and productively as a member of a collaborative team
- Full of passion, energy and enthusiasm and eager to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, English, Communications, Public Relations, or any related discipline
- Native English speaker
- Immediately available will be an advantage
